Kenraken Niwasokoten Onon’onsera’ko:wa

Kenraken Niwasokoten Onon’onsera’ko:wa translates to english as “white pumpkin” and can be called White Calabash for short,  if you have trouble pronouncing the Kanien’keha. Unique in both shape and color, the flavor of this fluted slicer is similar to other whites I have tasted, mellow and mild with a fruity undertone. Next to Purple Calabash they truly catch the eye, an unusual and unexpected centerpiece for any table. Unlike its ancestor Purple Calabash, Kenraken Niwasokoten Onon’onsera’ko:wa does not mind the cold as much and will continue to preform well many degrees lower than its purple counterpart.
