Dancing with Smurfs

As the name implies, this is a true blue tomato, another descendant of the OSU anthocyanin line. During the heat of the summer the anthocyanin purple is about as visible as the red if not more, but when the temperatures drop in the evenings the fruits start to turn jet black! Even the leaves on this variety turn a lovely shade of purple here and there. A decently productive cherry, and one of the most visually striking I have ever grown. The flavor is tart and sweet with faint undertones of rhubarb. Another superb variety bred by Tom Wagner, this generation is my F5 selection for pure homozygous Aft expression (stronger purple). At least 15 seeds per packet.
