Chocolate Blues

Chocolate Blues is green and black/purple in contrast to its name which would imply brown flesh. When they are sliced open they reveal a bright lime green flesh. The sour flavor lacks the sweetness of Muddy Waters which has similar color, but Muddy waters tends to preform better in smaller spaces and in shorter seasons with very squat and determinate habit. It is even suitable for larger containers. The tidy plants frame incredibly large regular leaves which reach the length of my forearm and hand. Decent disease resistance keeps Chocolate Blues producing through invasions of fusarium and other vascular fungal diseases, as well as septoria and early blight. Some purple frosting can be found in the foliage. The fruits have clear skin. Developed by Tom Wagner. At least 10 seeds per packet.
